Your safety is our top priority.

UNO DENTAL maintains enhanced infection-control protocols that meet or exceed CDC, OSHA, and ADA guidelines — so every visit is calm, clean, and confidence-inspiring.

From the moment we regained the post-pandemic baseline, we kept the protocols that worked: medical-grade air purification, contact-free checkout, surface disinfection between every appointment, and aerosol-reduction equipment on every operatory. Below is a summary of the safeguards in place during your visit.

Medical-grade air purification

HEPA-filtration systems exchange the air in every operatory every 15 minutes — capturing aerosols, allergens, and pathogens before they linger.

Pre-visit screening

A short screening questionnaire is sent to every patient before their appointment to identify any symptoms, exposures, or recent illness.

Temperature checks

Touchless temperature screening on arrival for every patient and team member, with same-day rescheduling at no charge for anyone who isn't feeling well.

Pre-procedure oral rinse

Patients are asked to rinse with an antimicrobial mouthwash before treatment to reduce oral bacterial and viral load.

Enhanced PPE

Our clinical team uses N95-grade masks, face shields, gowns, and head coverings — refreshed between every patient.

Aerosol-reduction protocols

Extraoral suction and high-volume evacuation on every operatory dramatically reduce airborne particles during procedures.

Surface disinfection

Every chair, instrument tray, doorknob, and high-touch surface is disinfected with hospital-grade products between every appointment.

Hand sanitizer stations

Touchless hand-sanitizer stations at the entrance, front desk, and every operatory entry — for patients and team alike.

Distancing & reception flow

We schedule with extra buffer between patients to minimize waiting-room overlap. If you prefer, you can wait in your car or outside and we'll text you when your operatory is ready.

Sneeze guards & contact-free checkout

Plexiglass barriers at reception, contactless payment, and digital intake forms — minimizing shared surfaces wherever possible.

Extended appointment times

We added buffer to every appointment so the team can fully sterilize and reset each operatory without rushing.

Testing & referral support

If you develop symptoms after a visit, contact us — we'll help connect you with appropriate testing resources and reschedule you safely.
