Dr. Amjad Kandar, DDS

Dr. Amjad leads the clinical team at UNO DENTAL SAN FRANCISCO, with nearly 15 years of clinical experience and a focus on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He's one of the few dentists in the city holding two DDS degrees — earned at dental schools overseas and at the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry, where he was selected from a competitive pool of peers.

His patient appointments are unhurried (often a full hour) so he can do a thorough exam, walk you through what he sees on screen, and present every option — risks, benefits, and pricing — before any work begins. His focus is on building a calm, modern, transparent dental experience — the kind of healthcare patients deserve. He works closely with our hygiene team and front-desk staff to keep everything running smoothly so the clinical team can focus on care.
