About Dr. Amjad
Dr. Amjad Kandar is one of the few dentists in San Francisco holding two DDS degrees — earned at dental schools overseas and at the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry, where he was selected from a competitive pool of peers. He founded UNO DENTAL in 2020 with the goal of building the kind of dental practice patients deserve: precise, gentle, and deeply personal.
His treatment philosophy is minimally invasive — do the least possible to fix the root issue, and preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible. Dr. Amjad's appointments are unhurried (often a full hour for new patients) so he can do a thorough exam, walk you through what he sees on screen, and present every option — risks, benefits, and pricing — before any work begins.
